On the expansion of the universe during the confinement transition

Abstract

The possibility of a mini-inflationary era before and during the cosmic confinement transition is demonstrated. The inflationary growth of the space is caused by some supercooling of the quark-gluon matter. We study the temperature evolution by exploiting nucleation theory.
