Stability of hyperproduction of D-serine deaminase and tryptophanase inEscherichia coli

Summary

D-Serine deaminase hyperproducing mutants ofE. coli lose about one half of their original activity during passaging. On the other hand, the mutant hyperproducing tryptophanase is completely stable.
