Continuous cultivation of a yeast strain for biotransformation of L-acetyl phenyl carbinol (L-PAC) from benzaldehyde

Summary

L-PAC production by a yeast strain harvested from glucose limited continuous cultures grown at different dilution rates has been studied. The specific transformation rate is higher for the cells which have been grown at higher dilution rates.
