The kinetic treatment of anisothermal decomposition reactions

Abstract

A new method has been developed for calculating the kinetic parameters of anisothermal decomposition reactions from thermogravimetric data, which makes use of the second derivative (DDTG) of theTG curve. By use of the method it is also possible to distinguish in a simple way between single and competitive reactions.

Zusammenfassung

Zur Berechnung der kinetischen parameter von anisothermen Zersetzungsreaktionen aus thermogravimetrischen Daten wurde eine neue Methode entwickelt, welche die zweite Ableitung (DDTG) derTG-Kurve verwendet. Die Methode ermöglicht ferner, zwischen einzelnen und kompetitiven Reaktionen in einfacher Weise zu unterscheiden.
