Catalytic oxidative coupling of methane over hydroxyapatite modified with lead

  • Published:
Catalysis Letters Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Abstract

Hydroxyapatite modified with lead catalyzes the oxidative dehydrogenation of methane with high selectivity to C2 compounds at reaction temperatures as low as 700 °C. The activity is stabilized after reduction in the surface area of the catalyst during the reaction.
