Zusammenfassung
-
1.
Summary
-
1.
The pattern of C.S.F. amino-acids in Parkinson's disease differs from the normal in that the amount of glutamic acid is strongly reduced, whilst the concentration of glycocoll, serine, threonine, cysteine and methionine is increased. The total amount of amino acids is, however, the same in normal persons as in patients suffering from Parkinson's disease.
-
2.
I.v. administration ofl-Dopa in normal and pathological cases results after transient decrease in an increase of amino acid concentration in C.S.F. and serum. This change is mainly due to shifting of the concentration of glutamic acid, arginine and serine.
-
3.
In patients suffering from Parkinson's disease afterl-Dopa administration the concentration of tyrosine in C.S.F. and serum shows a transient increase.
