Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

Abstract

Using high-performance liquid chromatography, 22-deoxyecdysterone has been isolated from the butanolic fraction of the extractive substances from the epigeal part ofSilene nutans L. Characteristic features of the mass spectrum of 22-deoxyecdysterone due to the absence of an oxygen function at C-22 are discussed.
