Zur invers-voltammetrischen Bestimmung des Cadmiums in Aerosolen

Determination of cadmium in aerosole-samples

Abstract

For the inverse-voltammetric determination of small contents of cadmium in aerosol samples the volatilization of cadmium in a stream of hydrogen at elevated temperatures, proceeded by oxydation of the sample in a stream of oxygen is proposed. 0.15–0.25 μg of Cd can be determined with certainty in a 125 cm2 filter sample. Details and results of the procedure are dealt with.

Zusammenfassung

Zur invers-voltammetrischen Bestimmung kleiner Cadmiumgehalte in Aerosolsammel-proben wird die Abtrennung des Cadmiums durch Verdampfung im Wasserstoffstrom bei höherer Temperatur nach vorausgehender Oxydation der Probe im Sauerstoffstrom vorgeschlagen. In 125 cm2 Filterprobe können noch 0,15–0,25 μg Cd mit Sicherheit bestimmt werden. Einzelheiten und Ergebnisse des Verfahrens werden mitgeteilt.
