Summary

A method for the histochemical determination of A-Esterase activity is described; the site of the enzyme is marked by the heavy metal compound bismuth sulphide. The results obtained with this method are compared with those obtained with azo-dyes.

Zusammenfassung

Es wurde eine Methode zur histochemischen Darstellung der A-Esteraseaktivität beschrieben, bei welcher der Enzymort durch die Schwermetallverbindung Wismutsulfid markiert ist. Die Ergebnisse dieses Verfahrens wurden mit denen einer Azomethode verglichen.
