A computer program for the layouts of seed orchards

Abstract

A computer program has been developed, which offers the possibility of producing designs for clonal seed orchards which reduce the chance of self fertilisation and offer an equal opportunity to all cross combinations to occur with approximately the same frequency.

Er is een computer-programma ontwikkeld voor het opstellen van zaadtuinschema's, die de kans op zelfbestuiving zo gering mogelijk maken en de kans op kruisbestuiving voor alle combinaties zo gelijk mogelijk doet zijn.
