Zusammenfassung
Anhand von drei ausgewählten europäischen Beispielen diskutiert dieser Beitrag neue Möglichkeiten der Nutzung und Einbeziehung von anonymisierten Routinedaten der notfallmedizinischen Versorgung für Aufgaben der öffentlichen Gesundheitsdienste und der Gesundheitsüberwachung. In drei durch die Europäische Kommission geförderten Projekten wurden u. a. (1) prähospitale Indikatoren für die Europäische Gesundheitsberichterstattung definiert, (2) die Verfügbarkeit von Daten aus Krankenhäusern und der prähospitalen Notfallversorgung für eine europäische Verletzungsdatenbank verglichen und (3) ein automatisches Frühwarn- und Gesundheitsüberwachungssystem basierend auf notfallmedizinischen Syndromen entwickelt. Die Ergebnisse aller drei Projekte bestätigen, dass anonymisierte notfallmedizinische Routinedaten eine relevante, ergänzende und bisher nicht ausreichend genutzte Quelle für die Gesundheitsüberwachung darstellen.
