Zusammenfassung

Soziale Innovationen auf kommunaler Ebene sind eingebettet in lokalspezifische Governance-Arrangements. Sie haben gute Chancen auf eine dauerhafte Etablierung, wenn Wirtschafts- und Sozialpolitik aufeinander bezogen sind und wirtschaftliche Interessen nicht mit sozialpolitischen Anliegen in Konflikt stehen. Optimal sind ihre Chancen, wenn Kommunalverwaltung soziale Innovationen unterstützt oder sogar initiiert. Exemplifiziert wird dies anhand von vier kontrastierenden sozialen Innovationen aus Berlin und Münster.
