In this report, we describe two studies of the safety and efficacy of the new antihypertensive treatment, Clonidine therapeutic transdermal system (CTTS): a short-term study involving 20 patients who received CTTS alone, and a long-term study of eight patients who received both a thiazide diuretic and CTTS.
