Abstract
In our laboratory we have been studying the effect of antigen dosage on the character and course of the immune response to soluble human serum albumin (HSA) in chickens. The primary response is fairly pronounced and allows not only the detection of various types of antibodies but also a quantitative follow-up of antibody-forming cells by means of immunofluorescence (Iványi et al., 1966; Černý and Iványi, 1966).
