Zusammenfassung
Die Führungslehre ist in ihrer Praxisorientierung als eine normative anwendungsorientierte Sozialwissenschaft zu verstehen (Ulrich, 1968). Das angebotene Aussagensystem soll es dem Anwender ermöglichen, seine Ziele im und mit dem Unternehmen zu verwirklichen. Die Führungslehre ist dabei utilitaristisch orientiert, d. h. das von ihr produzierte Wissen dient der Nutzenerzielung von Individuen und von größeren analytischen Einheiten wie Gruppen und Organisationen (Unternehmen). Die Anwender bedienen sich des Wissens, um ihre Zwecke und Interessen zu realisieren.
