Zusammenfassung
Die beste Behandlung des Zervixkarzinoms ist, wie schon seit vielen Jahrzehnten, auch heute noch umstritten. Dies liegt vor allem daran, daß im Gegensatz zu anderen Malignomlokalisationen die Stadieneinteilung des Tumors im allgemeinen prätherapeutisch erfolgt und damit weitgehend auf der Tastempfindung des Untersuchers und damit auch auf subjektiven Angaben über die vermutete Tumorausbreitung basiert.
