Zusammenfassung

Ich bin gebeten worden, einen Überblick über die verschiedenen Methoden und Ansätze, die im Bereich des Risk Assessment und Risk Management verwendet werden, auszuarbeiten, sowie ihre Reichweite und Beschränkungen anzusprechen. Wegen der Vielzahl und Vielfalt von Ansätzen habe ich versucht, sie nach einem sinnvoll und nützlich erscheinenden Klassifizierungssystem in einige Hauptgruppen einzuordnen. Die Diskussion der Verwendung und Beschränkungen wird sich dann auf die Hauptgruppen sowie Variationen innerhalb der Hauptgruppen beziehen.
