Zusammenfassung

Die Bewegungen des Chymus im Kolon werden durch die Aktivität der glatten Muskulatur hervorgebracht, die autonom arbeitet und vom vegetativen Nervensystem kontrolliert wird. Vom somatischen Nervensystem versorgt und dem Willen unterworfen ist nur der quergestreifte Musculus sphincter ani externus.
