Abstract

Over the past 15 years in Aberdeen, there has been an extensive screening programme for chemical gestational diabetes, and a number of these mothers have been treated during pregnancy with chlorpropamide, with insulin, or without the use of drugs. (Stowers and Sutherland, 1975).
