Zusammenfassung
1. In seiner Theorie der Gerechtigkeit stellt John Rawls eine hypothetische Entscheidungssituation an den Anfang seiner Überlegungen. Mit dieser original position, der zentralen Konstruktion der gesamten Theorie, sind zwei grundlegende Probleme verbunden, die nach dem Erscheinen der theory of justice in zahllosen Beiträgen immer wieder diskutiert worden sind: Das erste Problem ist methodologischer Natur und bezieht sich auf die Frage, ob die original position als adäquater Ausgangspunkt für die Rechtfertigung moralischer Prinzipien anzusehen ist. Das zweite Problem ist logischer Natur und kommt in der Frage zum Ausdruck, ob die Bedingungen der original position eindeutig bestimmte Prinzipien der Gerechtigkeit erzeugen.
