Abstract

Inferior cluneal nerve entrapment syndrome is frequently a missed diagnosis, confused with sciatic neuralgia or ischial bursitis. A positive diagnostic block at the lateral and inferior edges of the ischium without radicular hypoesthesia or weakness may suggest inferior cluneal nerve pathology.
