Sleep Disorders and Quality of Life in Patients After Kidney Transplantation

  • Chapter
Sleep and Quality of Life in Clinical Medicine

Summary

There has been an increasing interest in sleep problems of patients after organ transplantation. Despite the high prevalence of sleep disorders and the potential impact on both health-related quality of life and on morbidity and mortality, there is still a paucity of published data in the transplanted population. We aim to review here the few studies that address these issues in the kidney-transplanted population.
