Summaries

The quality of a flexographic print owes much to the printing plates that are used in terms of their composition and their ability to deliver the required image to specification. This paper examines some of the criteria that are of relevance to the creation of quality blankets from which quality prints can be realised.

La qualité d’une impression flexographique tient dans une grande mesure aux clichés qui sont employées, de par leur composition et leur capacité de livrer l’image demandée selon la spécification. Cet article examine quelques-uns des critères qui sont utiles en ce qui concerne la création de blanchets de qualité, éléments nécessaires pour la production d’impressions de qualité.

Zusammenfassung

Die Qualität eines flexografischen Druckes beruht stark auf den verwendeten Druckplatten, sowohl mit Hinsicht auf ihre Komposition als auch auf ihre Fähigkeit, das gewünschte Bild erwartungsgemäß abzudrucken. Diese Arbeit prüft einige der relevanten Kriterien die zur Herstellung von hochqualitativen Druckplatten und hochqualitativen Drucken nötig sind.
