Photoinjection of hydrogen in solids

Abstract

The process of the injection of hydrogen in various solids by means of illumination was investigated. The mechanism of the process and the influence of various parameters on its efficiency have been investigated. This process has been studied for solids in which the photoinjection of hydrogen leads to drastic changes of the electrical, optical, structural, chemical, and other parameters. The objectives and possible areas of research of the phenomenon are discussed.
