Abstract
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers’ mechanisms and robotics community has sponsored the dissemination of research results through the Design Engineering Technical Conferences for the 67-year history of the Design Engineering Division. Kenneth J. Waldron has been a tremendous contributor and leader in this field for over forty years. This paper presents a brief synopsis of the history of the mechanisms and robotics portion of this conference in honor of Prof. Waldron’s 70th birthday.
