Organisms in a Changing Environment
- Submission status
- Closed
Environmental change beyond the range for which organisms are adapted is a stressor for plants and animals that are natural inhabits of these environments as well as domestic animals on farms and crop plants. Climate change drives the long-term effects of environmental stress. In response, plants and animals mount genetically and evolutionarily highly conserved responses generally known as cellular stress responses. This collection from Cell Stress and Chaperones contains up-to-date original papers and review articles about our rapidly changing biosphere.
