Abstract

To achieve organisational objectives despite the obstacles created by saboteurs, individuals must find the courage to break away from their old defences and escapes and be themselves (i.e. be existential). But, we could at this point ask:

‘One is also entirely responsible for one’s life, not only for one’s actions but for one’s failures to act.’

(Irving Yalom)
