Abstract
The proper management of construction and demolition (C&D) waste has become a pressing concern worldwide. Review-based study is presented, which analyzes 200 articles on CDWM, using science mapping approach (SMA) to evaluate the research in the recent decade. Based on extensive scientometric analyzes, the most influential scholars, articles, and countries that have been actively involved in CDWM (CDWM) research since 2012 are identified. A keyword analysis reveals emerging research topics, such as (CDWM), waste disposal sustainability and recycling. Additionally, the materials which contribute to the major fraction of wastage are identified using a beneficial index value. Concrete is found to be the material that makes the highest contribution to construction waste, with a BIV value of 6.24 and Timber, on the other hand, is found to have the lowest impact on construction waste, with a BIV value of 5.07.
