Abstract
Key points of this chapter: The tunnel construction technology with NATM as the core has gradually matured. TBM has been rapidly developed in various fields of engineering construction due to its advantages of rapidity, high quality, high efficiency, safety, environmental protection and automation. The main constraint of TBM application is the poor adaptability to adverse geological conditions, limiting its rapid development and promotion to a certain extent.
