Abstract
This chapter focuses on the structural characteristics, basic configuration and working principle of the gripper TBM, the single-shield TBM and the double-shield TBM, introduces the structure of key TBM parts such as cutter head, main drive, supporting and thrust systems, shield and accessory equipment, and describes the function, composition, structural form, main equipment and layout of the TBM back-up system.
