Abstract

Perimetry is the measurement of the field of vision and has been charted by various means by numerous researchers. The hunt for a quantifiable, reproducible, effective method has resulted from years of research, and today, automated perimetry is the standard of care. Obtaining a good, reliable, reproducible field by a patient requires the patient, doctor and perimetrist to work as a team. This introductory chapter charts out the process of obtaining a good field result.
