Abstract
Bacterial and fungal biocontrol agents are currently being developed by researchers and commercial companies for the control of soilborne pathogens, but little is known about the impact of those microbes on non-target beneficial microbes such as symbiotic mycorrhizal fungi which may significantly enhance plant growth and health. The objective of our research is to determine whether introduced biocontrol agents may adversely affect ectomycorrhizae, ericoid mycorrhizae, or VA mycorrhizae.
