Abstract

The detection and evaluation of space-occupying lesions in the liver is usually not performed using hepatobiliary scintigraphy with Ida-derivatives. The method of choice here is colloid-scintigraphy. In a few cases Ida-scintigraphy can yield additional information for differential diagnosis respectively to check on the proliferation of malignancy. The results obtained by these methods are discussed below for different focal liver processes.
