Abstract
Het probleem waar we hier over spreken is dat van malingeringof – in rond Nederlands – simuleren : het willens en wetens aandikken of fabriceren van symptomen om zo een voordeel te behalen. Deze omschrijving is een parafrase van de officiële definitie die te vinden is in de DSM-IV-TR (American Psychiatric Association, 2000, p. 739).
