Zusammenfassung
Schwer betroffene neurologische Patienten sind häufig die meiste Zeit bettlägerig. Diese Immobilisierung führt zu zahlreichen negativen Konsequenzen, welche die Behandlungsdauer verlängern, langdauernde Einschränkungen verursachen und die Lebensqualität der Patienten verringern. Entsprechend bedeutend ist die frühe Mobilisierung. Empfehlungen dazu begegnen jedoch (besonders auf Intensivstationen) zahlreichen Barrieren und werden teilweise unzureichend umgesetzt. Zur Vereinfachung der Mobilisierung dienen z. B. assistive Geräte wie Ergometer, welche das Arm- und Beintraining direkt im Patientenbett ermöglichen. Mobilisationsgeräte und Kipptische erleichtern es, den Patienten in aufrechte Positionen zu bringen. Robotische Therapiegeräte wie Erigo und VEMOTION ermöglichen eine Vertikalisierung mit gleichzeitiger (kreislaufanregender) Beinbewegung. Neue Entwicklungen robotischer Assistenzsysteme bieten also die Chance auf eine sichere, häufigere und intensivere Mobilisierung bei gleichzeitig niedrigerem Ressourcenbedarf.
