Zusammenfassung
Die Nierentumorchirurgie ist der elementare Bestandteil der kurativen Therapie des Nierenzellkarzinoms (NCC). Seit ihrer Erstbeschreibung 1963 durch Robson war die offene radikale Nephrektomie jahrzehntelanger Goldstandard zur Sanierung maligner Nierentumore und bedeutete für den Patienten die einzige Chance auf Heilung (Robson 1963).
