Zusammenfassung
Lehrkräfte sind in ihrer täglichen Praxis in unzählige Interaktionen mit Schülerinnen und Schülern, Kolleginnen und Kollegen sowie Eltern eingebunden. Soziale Interaktion und Kommunikation bereichern den Lehrberuf, lassen ihn aber auch zur Herausforderung werden. Um die psychologischen Hintergründe der Alltagspraxis von Lehrkräften besser zu verstehen, richtet sich der Blick dieses Kapitel auf die soziale Interaktion und Kommunikation im schulischen Kontext.
Laut Definition meint Interaktion die Wechselwirkung und das gegenseitige Einwirken von Personen aufeinander. Von sozialer Interaktion ist die Rede, weil mindestens zwei Personen an dem Austauschprozess beteiligt sind. Kommunikation („communicare“ = eine Mitteilung machen, mitteilen) dient dem Senden und Empfangen von Informationen. Die Kommunikation kann auch einseitig verlaufen, was sie von sozialer Interaktion unterscheidet. Gleichwohl sind die Begriffe eng miteinander verbunden. Fragend-entwickelnder Unterricht kann beispielsweise als Kommunikation im Rahmen sozialer Interaktionen verstanden werden. Lehrkraft und Schülerinnen und Schüler senden und empfangen Informationen und beeinflussen sich dadurch gegenseitig in ihrem Verhalten.
