Zusammenfassung

Obwohl die zytoreduktive Chirurgie (CRS) in Kombination mit hyperthermer intraperitonealer Chemotherapie (HIPEC) in kurativer Intention zum Einsatz kommen, zeigt die klinische Realität, dass ein Großteil der Patienten im weiteren Verlauf ein Rezidiv entwickelt. In vielen Fällen bleibt dabei das Rezidiv ausschließlich auf das Peritoneum beschränkt. Für Patienten mit einem isolierten peritonealen Rezidiv nach CRS und HIPEC gibt es aktuell kein standardisiertes Vorgehen. Einem Teil dieser Patienten kann – unter Berücksichtigung der Tumorentität, der Tumorbiologie und der zu erwartenden postoperativen Lebensqualität – als Individualentscheidung eine weitere CRS und HIPEC angeboten werden. Durch dieses aggressive Vorgehen konnten im gemischten Patientengut für verschiedene Tumorentitäten 1-, 3- und 5-Jahres-Überlebensraten von 92 %, 60 % und 34 % erzielt werden
