Zusammenfassung

Synkopen sind die häufigste Ursache des plötzlichen Bewusstseinsverlustes. Seltener sind anfallsartige Störungen der Wachheit und des Schlafes. Eine interessante, ätiologisch nicht sicher geklärte attackenförmige Krankheit ist die transiente globale Amnesie oder amnestische Episode.
