Abstract
Today’s electronic asembly tasks are much more demanding, but that is being effectively addressed by a vast array of new and/or improved machines and tools to make assembly far more efficient and effective than ever before. Insertion/placement rates can vary from a few hundred per hour with machineassisted manual equipment to thousands of discrete component chips per minute with automatic equipment!
