Klinische Wertigkeit der PTCA bei Patienten mit instabiler Angina pectoris

Zusammenfassung

Seit der ersten prospektiven randomisierten Studie, die den 10-Jahres-Verlauf bei Patienten mit instabiler Angina pectoris untersucht hat, wurde die Therapie der Patienten mit instabiler Angina pectoris durch die perkutane transluminale Angioplastie beträchtlich erweitert (1). Während der letzten Jahre hat sich die Kenntnis über das pathophysiologische Geschehen bei der instabilen Angina pectoris erheblich erweitert. Neben den rein pathophysiologischen Ergebnissen wurde weiterhin die medikamentöse Therapie mit und ohne interventionellen invasiven Maßnahmen zur Prognoseverbesserung untersucht. Unbestritten ist, daß nach bisherigen Ergebnissen die PTCA bei Patienten mit instabiler Angina pectoris und koronarer Eingefäßerkrankung die alternative Therapiemöglichkeit zur Bypass-Operation darstellt.
