Von Konzentrations- und Aufmerksamkeitsstörungen sind meistens Kinder betroffen. Bei Erwachsenen treten diese Störungen vor allem nach neurologischen Schädigungen etwa aufgrund von Unfällen, Alkoholmißbrauch, Durchblutungsstörungen und Alterserkrankungen auf.
