Zusammenfassung
Das Blut ist ein flüssiges Gewebe, das sich in einem geschlossenen Gefäßsystem befindet und dort mit Hilfe einer Umwälzpumpe, dem Herzen, ständig in Bewegung gehalten wird. Es besteht aus corpusculären Elementen — den roten (Erythrocyten) und weißen (Leukocyten) Blutkörperchen und den Blutplättchen (Thrombocyten) -, die in einem wäßrigen Medium, dem Plasma, suspendiert sind.
