Zusammenfassung
Unter dem Begriff der Ionenimplantation versteht man in der Halbleitertechnologie ein Dotierverfahren, bei dem die Dotanten zunächst ionisiert, dann in einem elektrischen Feld beschleunigt und auf den zu dotierenden Halbleiter gerichtet werden, wo sie durch Stöße mit den Atomen des Substratmaterials ihre Energie verlieren und schließlich zur Ruhe kommen Die Ionenimplantation bietet als präzises Dotierverfahren gegenüber den Diffusionstechnologien einige Vorteile, so z.B.
