Zusammenfassung
Bei der Beurteilung von kartographischen Darstellungen regionaler Daten ergibt sich die Frage, ob es sich um zufällige räumliche Verteilungen handelt oder ob ein räumlicher Zusammenhang existiert. So möchte man zum Beispiel wissen, ob in benachbarten Regionen ähnliche Werte auftreten, ob also eine regionale Klumpung vorliegt.
