Zusammenfassung
Eine Befragung an 2228 Polizistys lieferte Daten, wie Polizeieinsätze mit psychisch erkrankten Menschen im Berufsalltag aus Sicht der Beamtys erlebt werden. Mehr als die Hälfte der befragten Polizistys sehen eine potenzielle Chance für die Verbesserung im polizeilichen Umgang mit psychisch erkrankten Menschen u. a. darin, die berufsbezogene Fortbildungslandschaft auszubauen. Die erhobenen Daten wurden herangezogen, um ein Schulungskonzept zu entwickeln, welches u. a. berücksichtigt, welche Kontakthäufigkeiten zu verschiedenen psychischen Krankheitsbildern sowie welche beruflichen Herausforderungen den Polizeialltag prägen. Im modularen Aufbau des Fortbildungskonzepts wurden die statistisch signifikanten Fachgruppenunterschiede zwischen der Schutz- und Kriminalpolizei berücksichtigt, sodass spezialisierte Module fachgruppenspezifisch vorgestellt werden. Die Durchführung von Rollenspielen, die Einbindung trialogischer Formate sowie die Vorstellung von (lokalen) Netzwerkpartnerys sind als generelle Bestandteile vorgesehen. Optimales polizeiliches Wissen und Training kann neben den Belastungen und Gefahren auf Seiten der Polizistys auch die Auswirkungen z. B. potenzieller Stigmatisierungseffekte gegenüber psychisch Erkrankten reduzieren.
