Zusammenfassung

Geotracking umfasst eine Gruppe von Methoden, welche mit sehr hoher Präzision die geographische Position von Subjekten zu genauen Zeitpunkten erfassen. Das Hauptinteresse dabei ist, soziale Phänomene in ihren räumlichen und zeitlichen Zusammenhängen zu untersuchen. Dieses Interesse kann unter anderem auf Hägerstrands (1970) Zeitgeographie-Ansatz zurückgeführt werden, wonach individuelle Erfahrungen anhand von biographischen „Raum-Zeit-Pfaden“ betrachtet werden können.
