Zusammenfassung
Geert Hofstede ist einer der führenden Forscher auf dem Gebiet der Kultur. Er war einer der ersten, der untersucht hat, wie die eigene Kultur Verhaltensweisen und Denkmuster am Arbeitsplatz beeinflusst. Er sammelte und analysierte Daten von über 100.000 Einzelpersonen aus 40 Ländern und entwickelte daraus ein Modell, mit dem man Kulturen analysieren kann. In diesem Kapitel wird das Modell erläutert und seine Relevanz für Manager, die international tätig sind, aufgezeigt.
