Zusammenfassung
Vielfach wird die Meinung vertreten, daß die primal-duale ‘out of kilter’ - Methode den primalen Verfahren zur Lösung von Netzwerk-Problemen Uberlegen sei. Diese Aussage stützt sich jedoch i.a. auf numerische Erfahrungen, bei denen matrix-orlentlerte Versionen von prlmalen Verfahren — z.B. die ‘stepping stone’-Methode zur Lösung des Transportproblems — mit der ‘out of kilter’ (Markierungs)-Methode verglichen wurden. Im Gegensatz zu der letztgenannten Methode nytzten die bislang implementlerten primalen Verfahren die topologische Struktur von Netzwerken zu wenig aus. Markierungstechniken wurden nur selten angewendet.
