Zusammenfassung

Der Ventrikelseptumdefekt ist ein angeborener Herzfehler, bei dem der Anschluß des Septum interventriculare an das Conus-Truncus-Septum oder an den Ausläufer des unteren Endokardkissens ausbleibt. Bei dem überwiegenden Teil der Ventrikelseptumdefekte handelt es sich um hochsitzende Defekte, diese wurden häufig fälschlich als Parsmembranacea-Defekte subsumiert (Bankl 1970).
